Nozzle checks and basic cleaning should be performed before and after daily use. Before startup, use a test pattern to inspect the printhead for missing lines or nozzle dropouts; any anomalies require immediate cleaning to restore proper function. After printing, the printhead should be capped (kept moist) or undergo a light cleaning to prevent ink from drying and clogging the nozzles-a step that is crucial for maintaining stability.

Inspecting the ink delivery system is another vital aspect of daily maintenance. Operators should monitor ink levels, check for air bubbles in the tubing, and ensure filters are not clogged. For frequently used machines, it is also necessary to periodically bleed air or circulate the ink to maintain smooth flow and prevent supply instability caused by sedimentation or air ingress.

Finally, the equipment must be kept clean overall, including the guide rails, print platform, and outer casing. Any dust or ink droplets on the guide rails should be promptly removed and the rails properly lubricated to ensure smooth movement. The operating environment should also be kept clean with stable temperature and humidity levels to prevent dust from entering the printhead area, which could compromise print quality and shorten the equipment's lifespan.
